Ahhh I just lurrrrv a wedding when the Bride & Groom can’t bear to be without their beloved fur kid. Little Daisy trotted up the aisle carrying the rings in a custom made pouch around her neck to the oohs and ahhhhs of Ben & Nicole’s friends and family. Just beautiful! Twas a very balmy Autumn day…but Hyde Park provided some much needed shade for these crazy cats. Much fun to be had by all!

Ahhh it’s always a bit nerve wracking when a fellow photographer asks you to photograph his wedding (eeeeek). But alas it was a very relaxed, fun filled day with Jonathon & Caris who flew in from Melbourne for their special occasion. As usual, Perth turned on perfect weather and blissful skies when needed. Thanks again Mother Nature you gorgeous thing…you rock my world!

It was a balmy summer day for Sophie, Matt & little Fletcher who had flown back to Perth from Switzerland for their nautical themed wedding at Pier 21 and the Maritime Museum in Fremantle. Yayyyy the Doctor came in early providing a blissful breeze around the celebrations. How cute are the kiddly winks in their little sailor outfits.

Thilar Thilar Thilar you are just toooooooo cute. I love how much you laugh with your husband. It was such a pleasure to capture yours and Matt’s wedding day – two very much in love, cruisy, relaxed, funny & all round awesome people. Your dress, your ruby red lips, amazing blue satin shoes with Peacock feathers and complete adorableness (is that even a word) had us ooohing and ahhhing throughout the day & all through the editing process. Oh yes sirrrreeee it was a fine Summer’s day for Nick & Michelle’s lurrrrv blessing. They were married at a little beach off the beaten track called Curtis Bay, a very special place to them. Surrounded by friends and family….some of who flew in from New Zealand, no doubt to the shock of good old intense Aussie heat. Michelle arrived by boat and had noooo problems climbing rock faces, braving (what I would call huuuuuge) lizards and enduring the afternoon winds & 45 degree climbs down to the beach. Thanks y’all. James & Jenny not only did I have the pleasure of being part of your beeeeeautiful wedding day, but you granted me my 15 year wish of being able to photograph in the grounds of my favourite Perth property and for that I am most grateful. Jenny’s Auntie Mimi & Uncle Willy very kindly let me use any part of their house I pleased…and my goodness was I spoilt for choice. Thank you sooooo much for your hospitality, trimming back rose bushes on request and letting us pretty much do whatever we wanted.

As for the amazing reception at Jenny’s parents house…well the photos speak for themselves. A-ma-zing!! Lanterns, flowers, chandeliers, stunning marquee, coloured lighting, live band, loads of laughter and of course the LOVE…floating up to the beautiful blue hues of the night sky.

Gosh! I can’t stop gushing over these pics of Suraya & Troy in the forrest by the massive exposed roots of the Morten Bay Fig Tree. Such beautiful light peering through…making it all magical and dream like. It was THE QUICKEST on-location wedding photos I have everrrrrr done…at 28 minutes!! But we managed to pull it off…running around like headless chickens. I absolutely lurrrrv Suraya’s beautifully put together outfit. She looks like a gorgeous little forrest pixie…and Troy looks pretty dapper all suited up too. Thanks honey (that’s you Suraya) for braving the steep incline of that unpredictable hill in your sky high stilettos…muchos gracios.

David & Laura – Wise Winery

Oh yes I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again….could we have had more perrrrrfect skies for David & Laura’s wedding? I think not. Whilst it might be a bit frightening for the bride & groom when dark moody skies are threatening rain, it’s a photographers dream…well this little photographer’s anyway. Thank you Dunsborough for yet another amazing sky show from Mother Nature.

Whilst we did have slight drizzle during our beach jaunt, it still provided amazing light and beautiful even tones for our back drop.

Laura is a gorgeous little giggler and David couldn’t wipe the smile from his face. As for Laura’s Dad Stewart…awwww bless him…so much raw emotion from him as you will see. Loved it!

How cuuuuuute are Mum & Dad sneaking in a cuddle and kiss…they were sooo happy and excited.

Each table number was a photograph from a family members wedding. I think this is such a unique idea and a touching surprise for their guests.

Oh yippee yayyyyy…it’s always soooo nice to start the season with perrrrfect light…well actually perrrrrfect everything for Liz & Mark’s wedding. While later that evening I heard it had bucketed down in other areas of Perth, we were truly blessed with moody skies, sun streaming through the clouds upon request and not a drop of sky tears. Ohhh thank you so much Mother Nature for putting on such a lovely show for this beautiful couple and their loved ones. Lovely memories of a truly splendid first wedding for this season.
