I AM A LIGHT WATCHER

It’s ever changing colours + intensity never cease to amaze me.

As a young girl I was mesmerised how it could change in a split second and transform a scene into an entirely different picture.

I found it intriguing, beautiful, captivating.  Always will.

To blend my passion for this with skills to become a professional photographer was a dream come true.

I grew up in rural WA surrounded by forest, sheep, paddocks, abundant fruit trees + flano shirts.

I moved out of home to the city when I was 15.  Became a secretary.  Backpacked through Europe and Australia.  Worked 10,000 jobs.  Then finally realised my calling + became a photographer.

I’ve been doing this amazing job for 16 years.  No day is the same.  The rewards are endless. The people I meet are life changing.

5 years ago I moved from Perth to Byron Bay then to a hilltop Treehouse in Burleigh Heads.

My days are spent in my backyard forest, swimming, exploring, kayaking, sipping wine + marvelling at sunsets painting the ocean with my partner.

I adore cooking fragrant soup to the rain + am forever searching for the moon.

The rest of the time I’m finding new locations, shooting + editing.

I’m always up for exploring + meeting new people.

Cook me Cauliflower Cheese with mustard + I’m your friend for LIFE.
